Signet Solar develops, manufacturers, and deploys an entire ecosystem supporting the world's largest thin-film silicon PV modules enabling the industry's lowest installed system cost without the use of any toxic or rare materials. In the first year of production, Signet Solar has enabled over 50 installations (>10MW), varying in application from solar farms to commercial rooftops to parking structures to BIPV structures.

Each management executive has over 20 years of experience with proven track records driving cost out of products and producing performance optimized, reliable products and services.
Signet Solar's first manufacturing facility is based in Dresden, Germany and has been shipping product since October 2008. Built from the ground up, Signet's manufacturing facility reached an incredible milestone of construction to first production of the world's first large area thin film module in a record setting 15 months. Since then, the company's R&D group in Germany has continued to execute flawlessly to its roadmap of consistent quarter over quarter increases in module efficiency and corresponding reductions in module manufacturing costs.
Signet Solar manufacturing facility expansion plans includes upgrading its current Germany facility from 20MW to 70MW in Q1 2011 and an upcoming manufacturing facility near Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. |
